More About Me

Hey, I’m Kass.

I’m a self-taught artist who loves to experiment in lots of different mediums. Lately, my favorites are simple pen and ink, alcohol markers, and colored pencils, but I never know where my brain will take me next.

I’m a wife, a neurodivergent momma of two, and a dog owner. We all love spending time outdoors together enjoying nature, and it often inspires my work. I enjoy biking, van trips, camping, hiking, and flow arts. I love trying new things, getting outdoors, and letting my curiosity and wonder guide me through life, adventures, and art.

Over the years, I’ve illustrated two children’s books and run a cookie business. I’m currently studying psychology full time and working part time as a cake decorator, alongside my art practice.

I’m someone who believes art can be a way to reconnect to our bodies and our inner world. My creative practice is intuitive and exploratory, often shaped by reflection, nervous-system awareness, and the quiet moments in between everything else. My work is influenced by themes of identity, mental health, trauma-informed care, and what it means to exist gently in a world that often asks us to be anything but. I’m especially interested in the space that comes after survival, when you’re no longer in crisis, but still figuring out who you are underneath it all.

I’m studying psychology not to position myself as an expert, but because learning has helped me better understand myself and the way my mind works. That understanding deeply informs both my art and the way I move through the world.

Art has been such a healing part of my journey, and this space is where I get to share it with others. This space exists for anyone who values honesty, softness, and being human. You don’t need to be “fixed” to belong here.

Thank you for being here and supporting my work. It truly means more than I can say. I appreciate you.
